# Aurum

{% hint style="info" %}
Fleet is currently under development, the information provided is subject to change as it evolves to fit the development needs. We talk about all that will be developed at some point although not everything will be available on the MVP version, so it's essential to check the [roadmap](/space-misfits-fleet/roadmap.md) to find out the different stages.
{% endhint %}

Aurum is an unstable compound made up of organic materials and heavy metals typically found near the center of the galaxy. Aurum is not traded or spent by players. It is only earned. All trade of Aurum is controlled by the Olympus Syndicate. Harvesting Aurum is the main way for players to earn Olympus Syndicate Credits. Players can also earn a share of the weekly SMCW rewards pool based on how much Aurum they harvest.
