Finding the 12-word backup phrase for your existing Enjin Wallet is simple.
Check the [official Enjin guide](https://enjin.io/help/how-to-find-recovery-phrase-of-an-existing-wallet) for further help.
1. From the main screen of the wallet you wish to back up, tap the three-dot menu in the upper right corner and select "**Backup Wallet.**"
Enter your password, and your wallet recovery phrase will be displayed 4 words at a time.
2. Double check after every 4 words to ensure you have written them down correctly.
> ⚠️ **Reminder:** You will need your wallet password to back up your wallet.
> ⚠️ **Reminder:** For security purposes, we strongly advise using a pen-and-paper approach to recording your recovery phrase. This means physically writing it down on a piece of paper and storing the paper somewhere secure. To avoid having your wallet compromised, you should never save your recovery phrase on an electronic device and never provide your recovery phrase to anyone!
