# Staking dApp v1 (OLD)

Make sure you're in the correct Staking dApp v1 website and you don't end into a "phising" website, **always double check the correct URL**.\

{% tab title="Staking $SMCW" %}
If you already have $SMCW tokens in your [MetaMask Wallet](https://space-misfits.gitbook.io/guides/enjin-wallet/add-usdsmcw-token/using-metamask), you can stake them within the Space Misfits Staking DApp following the next steps.
1. After opening the [staking DApp](https://staking.spacemisfits.com/), use the "Connect to Metamask" button to start with the DApp connection.\

2. Once your MetaMask extension input opens, select the wallet you want to connect to the Staking DApp.
3. Now click on "Next" button.\
\
4. Click "Connect" button, to authorize the DApp connection.\
\
5. You'll see that your wallet is now connected within the DApp\
\
6. After the connection you'll see the total ammount of tokens that you own in your wallet you're able to stake.\
\
Now let's start with the DApp permission signing, it will cost you a transaction fee **only the first time** to confirm your wallet permission.\
\
Click the "Stake" button. (Transaction fee may vary depending on network congestion)\
\
7. Once you see the MetaMask extension load, give permission to the DApp to access your $SMCW tokens.\
Click on "Confirm" button.\
\
\
Wait for it to confirm a few seconds, after it's confirmed, you'll be able to stake your tokens.
8. Now let's stake your crowns, go ahead and select the ammount of tokens you want to stake and press the "Stake" button.\
\

9. Once the MetaMask Wallet extension opens, sign the Staking deposit transaction (it will cost you a transaction fee and the cost may vary depending on network congestion)\
\
Click "Confirm" button.\
\
10. Wait for the transaction to confirm for a few seconds, after it's confirmed, you'll see your Total staked ammount. You can add more or "Unstake" and also "Claim" your "Pending Rewards" now too

If you already have $SMCW tokens staked in the dApp you may want to unstake them and this guide will be covering how to do it. Have your [MetaMask Wallet](https://space-misfits.gitbook.io/guides/enjin-wallet/add-usdsmcw-token/using-metamask) setup ready with the address that you used to stake your tokens and follow the next steps.
1. After opening the [staking DApp](https://staking.spacemisfits.com/), use the "Connect to Metamask" button to start with the DApp connection.\

2. Introduce the amount of tokens that you want to unstake and press the "Unstake" Button. By doing so, a MetaMask prompt will appear to sign the transaction, remember that by unstaking your tokens you will also claim your "Pending Rewards" at the same time.\

3. Check your MetaMask wallet SMCW tokens and see that the amount you unstaked is now in your possesion (give it some time to arrive), if you run into any problem, please [contact support.](https://space-misfits.gitbook.io/guides/support/contact-support)
